Rishikesh is the “Yoga Capital of the World”. This city lies in the foothills of the high Himalayas. This is also at the convergence of the two most essential and well-known river named as Ganga and Chandravanka river. Rishikesh is a well known as the city of adventure activities and ancient temples. This is a charming hill station as well as a combination of river views with the existence of mesmerizing and thrilling adventure sports. This is one of the best spiritual places among the other site existed in India. It lies on the banks of holy river Ganga and dignified as the hub of Saints (Sadhus) with uncountable ashrams that are helping the tourists to be more spiritual and learn the proper way to have the meditation, yoga as well as the knowledge of Ayurveda also. Among the ashrams, the most known and popular one is named as Beatles Ashram.

What To Do

Kaudiyala (36 KMs from Rishikesh – towards DevPrayag), is the place where many camps are assisted by the guides or by some organization, like “The Feel Factor Camp”.  Feel Factor was a jungle camp and a traveller had to trek for around 250 meters from the road to the field, and after reaching, the effort was anyway worth it. When it was night and the atmosphere became a little cold, but the excitement of exploring this place was fantastic. It can listen to the “Barking Dears” in the jungle in our vicinity – though the camp looked pretty safe and secure!

This is a place of bungee jumping, river rafting, hoping temples, Kayaking and many more. There is also Triveni Ghat, Neelkanth Madhav Temple and some other sites those are known for the marvellous views and significant histories.

How To Reach :

This place is connected through the air, rail and road as well with any leading cities around India. Therefore, it proves the communication advantage of this place that attracts tourists as much as possible. Especially a road trip to Haridwar or from Haridwar is fascinating and puffed with experiences.

How to reach the nearest rail station
The nearest railway station is Rishikesh Railway Station. It is adjacent from the centre of attraction.

Nearest Airport
The nearest airport has a distance of almost 24 KMs and named as the Jolly Grant Airport. Several cabs and other transportation are available to reach the spots and to the city from the stations.
